A honeymoon trip is a once in a lifetime opportunity. After going to Singapore we decided to travel to Bali. To be honest, Bali has always been on my bucket list. Traveling to Indonesia from Singapore was fairly easy it was just a two-hour ride and we were there in paradise. The first thing that came to my mind when we are by arrived to Bali was how much culture is reflected in every single space. Every single corner represented their Hindu religion. Driving through the streets of Indonesia you see how many bikes are used in transit this was really cool because it is preferred more than a car.

As we arrived to our hotel Sofitel Bali we could not get over of how extravagant the premises looked. Just walking in the hotel  the staff  was already pampering us with attention and complimentary drinks. We did our checking and immediately went to have lunch at their restaurant Kwee Zeen.  Let me tell you that choosing out of that a menu was very difficult they have such a wide variety of options that it was impossible to just pick one. The food was simply amazing, but what really wins you over is the staff.  After having our first lunch we knew that we were going to eat like kings and queens on this trip.

As we headed over to our room just glancing over the beauty of the hotel made us appreciate how beautiful Bali is. They incorporate nature in their design which makes the hotel more outstanding.  The room did not fall short, as soon as we arrived to our room we were welcomed with a chocolate goodies platter in celebration of our honeymoon and to add the cherry on top we had our very own private plunge pool. These were some of perks of staying at the Sofitel in Bali.

Our first day in Bali we decided to stay in and enjoy the pool and beach. Just exploring the pool alone made us feel in paradise.  The pool connects to different areas of the Hotel and to the guest rooms. Not only that but right in the hotel beach we were offered to go on many specialized tours and to try out their water sports. How convenient is that!

The next day we hired a tour guide to show us around the town. Our first stop in the tour was Tanah Lot, this temple is built on top of the rock which is truly outstanding. We then drove to the famous Monkey Jungles in Abu. Seeing how the monkeys roaming around interact acting with the people was so much fun. We got a chance to feed them and of course, take pictures. I definitely recommend this to anyone traveling to Bali. Our next stop was a few hours heading to the rice fields. This was the spot that I was looking forward most this trip. As we are arrived, just seeing the elevation of the field made me appreciate the beauty of nature.

When we headed back to the hotel, all the staff had a special dinner planned out for us in their international restaurant called Ccc. We were spoiled with a three-course honeymoon dinner and live music to accompany our experience.

On our last tourist day, we decided to head towards the Bali Zoo where we got a chance to have breakfast with the elephant and the orangutans. This experience was a first for both of us it was truly special to experience it together. After that, we decided to do some shopping at the local stores getting a bunch of traditional goodies to take back home. The next day we were able to enjoy a session at the Sofitel spa a romantic massage for two. The hotel did not stop spoiling us until we checked out. This has been one of the best trips we have been on, add it to your bucket list guys!
