Why We’re Only Using Uber Express POOL from Now On
It’s no secret Miami is not a walking city. It’s also not an ideal city to drive around and park in. That’s why we’ve always relied on Uber, the ride request app available in over 600 cities around the world, to get us around the city – from South Beach to Wynwood to Brickell. We end up saving time and even getting a little extra time to catch up on emails (or, umm Instagram).
Over the past couple of years, Uber has introduced several new ride options, such as uberPOOL, which became really popular. Well, we have a little secret for you. They’ve since introduced an even better, more affordable option we can’t get enough of. It’s called Express POOL.
Express POOL is Uber’s most affordable share ride – up to 40% less than uberPOOL, where if you wait up to a few minutes, they’ll find riders more directly along your path, so you don’t go out of the way. By walking a little, you keep trips moving on the most direct route. The way we see it, instead of having our hands tied in traffic, we’d rather get the exercise in and walk a couple blocks from our drop-off to our destination.
Don’t believe us? Book a trip yourself and tell us it’s not an amazing deal. And, the best part? Like we mentioned before, Uber is available in 600+ cities, which means that even though we may be leaving Miami’s iconic palm trees and architecture behind on our next trip, we definitely won’t be without this convenient and valuable service.
