Wedding Attire for Grooms
Wedding Attire for Grooms
Popping the question is step one when making the most important choice of your life, but then comes a whole list of other major decisions. From location, food and dealing with vendors believe me when I say the main decision will always come down to – What in the world will I wear? as well as what outfit combination will my groomsmen to wear? Just saying, No pressure 🙂
For The Groom
From the start you will need to identify what kind of theme your wedding will be, this includes both the location, venue and what time of day will the ceremony be held before planning out outfits. Keep in mind, just like you would plan out an outfit for a weekend date, same rules apply when dressing for this occasion. I’ll break down my thought process as I planned out my groomsmen look as well as mine. Take note that our wedding was held at in an indoor space overlooking the Miami downtown and commercial district. Therefore our evening attire we went with a formal black tie.
I knew I had to opt for a tuxedo and wanted to look the most elegant I have ever been in my life. Thankfully, I teamed up with my friends at (brand) to have a fully customizable bespoke experience. They personally guide you in selecting every detail of your suit, from pockets, lapel style, and fabrics. Often times getting a ready-made suit just isn’t enough especially when you want to look the best for the best. It may be overwhelming when choosing all the different parts and components of a tuxedo, but just keep these two rules of thumbs in mind which is what really makes your tuxedo unique. Lapel type, buttons and lining down on the side of the trouser, the rest can be kept pretty standard since it won’t be seen as much.
For the occasion, I went with a thick peak lapel to enhance the broadness of the chest in satin fabric matched with satin buttons, finished with satin lining down the trouser. All together each piece spoke and complemented each other. Head on over to (SUIT BRAND) to shop your next tuxedo. To compliment my custom-made tux I was thankfully able to collaborate with Tated for an amazing custom pair of high polished shoes. They definitely added the icing on the cake and kept me dancing up all night!
When it came for my groomsmen I did not want them to stay behind. I decided to match them with a gray suit to contrast my classic black tux. Keep in mind, that was the easy part of the equation the problem really began when I had to come up with their suit combinations. All I knew was that I needed their accessories to look sharp but still mark a clear difference from my outfit. L Luckily, Sprezzabox offers curated groomsmen combinations sent in a perfectly crafted box with all the details needed to make your groomsmen sharp. It took the headache of planning for me and they shipped out each individual box to each of my groomsmen, which took loads of stress off!
