Choosing Glasses According to your Face

The shape of our face is one of the key determining factors when choosing the right pair of glasses. Depending on the shape of your face, some frames may not complement your image. We put together a quick guide that will help you shop your next set of sunnies according to your facial features without breaking the bank.

Luckily, we were able to come across Foster Grant sunglasses and be able to partner with them to show you how effortlessly you can find sunnies for all face shapes/sizes. This brand was our go to option for our top summer picks and we highly recommend their affordable trend pieces as we transition into fall. Before you select your next pair of sunglasses let’s identify which facial structures work best with which frames.

Oval Face: If you happen to have an oval face structure, you may choose lenses that are more square, rectangular with straight lines and rather narrow dimensions. In other words, a pair of sunnies that leave the eyebrows exposed would fit this description.

Round face: Those who have a rounded face will be able to use wide and thick frame lenses. As opposed to oval faces, who look best in narrower sunglass frames.

Square face: Those who have a square face with hard and defined features, can choose rounded glasses to compensate for this rougher image. I also recommend to wear glasses and lenses without too much detail, but rather simple frames.

Triangular Face: The faces of triangular shapes can play with mainly all types of glasses since this face structure has the best of both worlds avoiding however narrow and elongated frames.

If you are just starting out building a collection of sunnies, Foster Grant’s convenient pricing and wide array of styles will help you easily build a great collection of sunglasses. Thank you for all this great information about choosing glasses! One thing that really stood out to me is that you say to choose glasses that are round if you have a square face. It would be nice to know that they are going to bring out the features in your face a little bit more.
